The Centre was initiated in 1987 to cater the needs of street children with Kawangware slums and its surrounding. It is faith based Institution which operates under the management of Precious Blood sisters. This was in order to support the poor families in non formal settlements of Kawangware in order to safeguard children from child labour, early sex work among other challenges that comes with
